Southwest Alaska Ecosystems issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
The new Minidoka National Historic Site Visitor Center is now open in Jerome, Idaho. The space includes a theater screening the new park film; exhibits on the history of the Japanese American incarceration experience at Minidoka and more. Historically, the visitor center was warehouse # 5 and served as the automotive repair shop.
