Census Bureau: More men than women in Lake and Peninsula Borough in 2019

Of the 1,393 people living in Lake and Peninsula Borough in 2019, 46.2 percent (644) were women and 53.8 percent (749) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Alaska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 558-to-403. In the 65 and over age range, there were 61 females and 48 males.
