Of the 1,147 people living in King Cove city in 2019, 40.5 percent (465) were women and 59.5 percent (682) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Alaska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 515-to-313. In the 65 and over age range, there were 69 females and 45 males.
