Happy Sabbath !
The Most High God wishes that none would perish but that everyone who repents and believes in His beloved, sacrificial Son would be saved ! ( This means you and I ) .
God sent His beloved Son Christ Jesus to die on that cross for our sins.
But He rose again as the first born so that we may be born again and made righteous by His precious shed royal blood and rise from the dead too !
Many there were so sorrowful over the death of Jesus, they were filled with the despair of seeing the suffering of the cross and got very depressed and were giving up on believing . The risen Christ appeared to them while they were walking away from Jerusalem and lifted up their spirits by talking with them about the good news of hope and redemption through His death and resurrection and salvation that is made available to all who believe !
They were overjoyed and turned back to tell others about Christ Jesus to lift their spirits too and be saved for eternity !
But for us also, Christ Jesus not only came to relieve us of our depression but grant us eternal life and rise again too on the last day.
Three things that Christ Jesus did for us !
1 Challenges our depression.
2.Corrected our partial information.
3. Exchanges our depression for a mission.
Partial information results in bad conclusions and decisions.
Many horrendous leaders in history have made and are making bad decisions based on partial information.
Could say for instance the Governor and Lawmakers of Alaska, so called leader and leaders of US and tragically the dictator of that invading and threatening the world with nuclear holocaust leader.
When you/we come to realization that Christ Jesus is the only One who can save us, the truth will set us free. Free from depression, false teachings, false, partial information.
He challenges our reason for depression.
Like us many of our depression is emotional. Wrong thoughts ( often demonic influence) focusing on the hurt and not on the only One who can save us. For Christ Jesus said that no one comes to the Father but by Him.
The resurrected Christ Jesus is the power to get us out of depression and help others and ourselves by helping others.
He gives us a mission instead, to go and tell others that Christ Jesus came to save us and is the Hope and deliverer if we accept the invitation of the risen Christ Jesus !
He will give us a mission instead of focusing on ourselves and being sad and depressed . A mission to spread the good news to others to never give in nor never give up , it's not over yet, our Lord is about to appear in the clouds of heaven and pronounce judgement on this earth and call His Saints, Christians who believe in Him to meet Him in the air, both living and the dead in Christ. The great and terrible Tribulation is about to happen. Satan and his demonicaly influenced followers are about to be removed from the earth !
Blood and fire, and vapor of smoke when the sun will be darkened, and the moon will no more give it's light. Stars will fall, meteor will hit the earth, nuclear bombs kicking up blown up material to prevent sunlight. Then the sun will scorch because of the nuclear holocaust.
Men will hide themselves in caves and gnaw their tongues in pain, covered in sores, but still will not repent and glorify God.
Unless for the elect, those days will not be shortened and no flesh be saved.
Like in Noah's day when he built an arc to save eight souls when the Most High God destroyed evil mankind by flood, He is once again pronouncing righteous judgement on this earth, this time by fire !
Christ Jesus is our arc. Call on Him !
A new Heaven and a new Earth will be created by the Divine Majesty all powerful God ! Christ Jesus, beloved, sacrifial Son of God who paid the price for our sins IS about to return and for Him to rule and reign for a thousand years with His Saints when Satan will be put in chains and thrown into the Pit for a thousand years. In that glorious period in time with no evil is when Christ begins His earthly kingdom. ( please read the King James Bible to learn what happens next.) Get a bible app.
So, my friend, do not be dismayed and don't show your dismay or be depressed !
Tell others about Christ Jesus who was raised from the dead, so we can too endure and overcome the sometimes cruel hardships that we face in this short life .
Men will betray and be used by demonic forces to often betray and be against us but in reality our battle is against demonic forces in high places,and we are to pray for them.
Friend , if we believe, we win in the end for we have God on our side and can tear down the strongholds of Spiritual wickedness in high places through Divine intervention !
Remember ;
What can wash away our sins ?
What can make us whole again ?
Nothing but the blood of Christ Jesus !
Call on Him, overcome the forces of darkness, endure hardship like a good soldier, pull others away from the pit of Hell.
