Dillingham and the Bristol Bay area is experiencing several fires in the region. Due to the inversion layer the smoke can cause breathing difficulties in compromised individuals. The EMS team is suggesting the wearing of N-95 masks. The N-95 mask will filter particles in the air. If you need an N-95 mask they will be available at City Hall after 10am and in the Harbor at the blue building next to Tide Table. If you can't get to one of these sites please call Dillingham Dispatch 907-842-5354 and arrangements will be made to get one to you. Please stay inside, limit outdoor activities and close windows if possible.
