From April 1, 2023 post.
We are looking for Fire Management Officers for both the Northern Region Area in Fairbanks and the Southern Region in Palmer.
These positions offer opportunities to guide wildland fire management in Alaska to protect our communities and critical values. Based on National Interagency Incident Management System qualifications, the incumbent may accept assignments and serve as a member of Incident Management Teams, which respond to wildland and all-risk incidents both in Alaska and nationally.
