5.1% of Kodiak Island Borough residents considered unemployed in 2021

Kodiak Island Borough recorded an unemployment rate of 5.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 380 people out of the 13,218 living in Kodiak Island Borough at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Kodiak Island Borough has decreased compared to the 5.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Kodiak Island Borough was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.5%.
