Census Bureau: 64.4 percent of people in Bethel Census Area were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 18,263 citizens living in Bethel Census Area in 2020, 11,755 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 5,639 of those people were female and 6,116 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
