It’s incredibly human to desire to make a mark on things, or leave a legacy. Leaving one behind doesn’t require special qualifications or fame. In many cases, legacies are built because of passion, and a desire to meaningfully improve the lives of others in a simple way. That positive impact lasts and can inspire and empower others to do the same.
TAC Shareholder Roger Holmberg knows exactly what that can look like. He’s seen firsthand the lasting impact The Aleut Corporation has had on generations of Unangax̂ people. He’s also harnessed his love for music and passionate faith to impact the lives of others – efforts that continue today.
“I’m a pastor and international singer, and I’ve gotten do concerts and crusades around the world,” he said. “My faith is very important to me, and I love to travel and preach and share with as many people as I can.”
Roger’s story reminds us that seemingly small acts can have a big impact, evolve into larger opportunities, and last far longer than we might have imagined. Perhaps even more importantly, the way in which we make our marks and achieve our dreams might look very different than how we envision.
